1. Could you tell us about your recent works of creation?
My latest one is '05 christmas gift box decoration base on black ink pen on brown corrugated box, with candy & biscuits inside that I've prepared for all of my friends & relatives.
2. When did you start drawing?
So small (was indoor only) & can't remember, but addicted to outdoor sketch & nude (especially fat ladies) drawing since studying in university.
3. Which kind of events, things or moments make you want to draw?
things-
I'm sure it is when hearing fresh & interesting music/song/musical instruement, all kinds of "home/factory electronic goods" in organic form of design, food, old buildings with interesting construction or color arrangement & things related to organic (e.g. animal) /liquid form or even motions of animal in the zoo.
moments -
Most of the time can be when I feel very sad or touching such as hearing bad news from radio or from friends, but never at the moment when I'm in stinky & dirty environments.
4. You use various kind of unique materials for your work.
What makes you choose those materials?
Easy to carry & handling, having fun during exploration. One of the most important thing is when holding by hand it makes me feel smooth & addicted to at the very first moment.
5. Drawing with ballpoint pen is also very unique and impressive in your work.
Why did you choose to drawing with ballpoint pen?
Again, it was so easy to carry. And, the brand I use so far is by sticking on "BIG", which is a very old brand but the price is really economic & the color in black is the darkest black I've ever seen. Ink spreading thickness & softness is also appropriate to any kind of paper i've choose. An amazing one.
6. Could you choose one from your work especially you like or very impressive to you?
Please tell us reason, too.
Believe or not... always the next coming art piece.
7. Let me ask about your work "Tsunami" series.
How come you started creating this series of drawing?
I've got SHOCK when I heard those sad news surrounding me on the first time, and found Tsunami could be so close to anyone of us including my friends in overseas. I believe I can do something other than donation so I believe that drawing is my most powerful weapon at that moment.
8. How was people's reaction when you hold the exhibition of "Tsunami" works in Hong Kong?
Unfortunately I've NO chance to hold the exhibition yet. But after showing to friends of mine, I thought the size of the artpiece might make great difference on their impressions...
i.e., when artpieces are in actual sizes that I've shown in my studio, people feel so sad. However, when I've send some of those artwork in pictures attachment through mail before, they only found those artpiece funny.
9. What kind of works do you want to create in the future?
Is there any plan for next creation?
No & not knowing yet, but actually I wish to keep drawing giant piece of artwork which is always my dream.
10. At last, could you give any message to people seeing your work in Japan?
Drawing is so simple & always a kind of LOVE revolution to me & I hope my works do touch those who have seen.
